The Privileges of Being Keira's Aunty

My first trip to Amsterdam as a crew couldn't have come at a better time! Having "seen the sights" on my previous family holiday here, I could now spend all my time with mum and babe without thinking about missing out on sightseeing.
  1. Splurging on clothes without guilt (she needs them anyway!)

  2. Getting to know her before her fullmoon and watching her baby antics first hand

  3. Giving her all the attention she wants and when she wants (parents have to consider discipline)

Teatime at Urban Cafe in Rotterdam city on a public holiday with Joyce and Keira.

Dinner at home with the de Jonges at their lovely apartment by the canal in Prinsenland, Rotterdam.

A healthy dish of fresh spinach pasta tossed in sauteed tuna, pesto, mixed vege, feta cheese and basil, made by Joyce Loh, recovering mum and chef.

Happy aunty giving Keira her second helping of milk after her breast-feeding session with Mummy.

Drowsy little girl after one of her feeds.

Out for groceries at the nearby supermarket.

Afternoon nap with daddy

Sending aunty Janice off at the Rotterdam Centraal station. Little One is yawning away because of the little sleep she had while I was there.

View of the neighbourhood from the apartment with some spring flowers in bloom.
