Ponder ponder

Wah...this Starbucks is so packed. It's becoming like a mamak joint where people order just one drink and sit for hours maximising their free wi-fi. People like me.

This break has been really good one, not a rushed catch-up session like most of my monthly trips home. Holidays are SO necessary to keep one's sanity. I truly had the time to just chill, spend time with loved ones, spend time with my thoughts.

Now that the wedding frenzy has settled down, it's nice to talk about what's ahead and continue getting to know each other on a different level.

Like many have told me and I've observed, marriage doesn't change your life that much. Not as drastically as when couples have kids.

But, there is still some change. The realisation that you are not your own, but someone else's. That you have openly pledged to give of yourself fully, unconditionally to another.

There's something sacred about that.

It's wonderful.
