Mum and baby still under observation just to be safe. Would you just look at that cute lower lip!
After spending a full term and two weeks in mummy's warm womb, the 9.2 pound baby girl was finally urged out into the world this morning, 17th April 2008.
Though she put mummy through 13 hours of labour and an emergency C-section, both mum and babe are doing well.
Happy to report that the daddy was there (and conscious) every step of the way (including surgery!)
As part of my celebration of being an aunty, I headed out to get the little one the something above (and ended up getting a whole lot of other things for myself! naughty aunty!).
Michiel and Joyce, all my love and congratulations. So proud of the two of you, especially you, Che, for going through labour!!! And you're the one who can't tahan pain.
